About TestPilot IELTS
TestPilot is an online IELTS preparation platform built around one idea: practice should look and feel like the real exam. Listening, Reading and Writing tests run inside a replica of the computer-delivered IELTS interface, so the format stops being something you have to learn on test day.
It is an independent platform. TestPilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to IDP Education, the British Council or Cambridge Assessment English.

What you can practise
TestPilot covers all four IELTS skills, but not all in the same way — because the exam does not test them in the same way.

What TestPilot does not claim
Scores on TestPilot are practice estimates. Listening and Reading scoring is objective and reliable; Writing feedback is generated by AI to guide revision, and Speaking is never auto-scored. Only a certified examiner can award an official IELTS band.
How students use the platform
- Take a free practice test to establish an honest baseline in each skill.
- Work through part practice on the skill and question types that scored lowest.
- Review every mistake — the answer key, the evidence, the transcript, the explanation.
- Add full mock tests under exam timing as the test date approaches.
- Track band history and weak question types in My Progress, and adjust what you practise next.
Alongside the tests there are learning resources: model Writing and Speaking answers, topic vocabulary, articles and podcasts. They exist to support the practice, not to replace it.

There are three plans. Free includes free practice tests, sample materials and a small allowance of AI writing evaluations. Standard and Premium open the full test library, monthly full mock tests, larger AI evaluation allowances and the complete learning resource library; Premium also includes live Speaking Rooms.
Support runs through Telegram, where you can also ask about plans for a class or learning centre.
